The GeneralAire 1000M 18 GPD Fan-Powered Humidifier is a genuine OEM is a fan power humidifier that mounts on the distribution system of your furnace. The integral fan of the GeneralAire furnace humidifier pulls the heated air from your furnace and that air draws across a highly evaporative VaporPad where humidity is absorbed into your air and distributed into your home. Water is metered into a patented kinetic trough and dispersed uniformly across the humidifier pad. Unevaporated water drains from the bottom of the fan-powered humidifier to eliminate mineral build-up.
