With the General Aire Legacy Series Humidifiers, a portion of the heated air from the furnace passes through a water-soaked pad where it absorbs additional moisture and then returns it for distribution throughout the air in your home. Water is metered into the KineticFlo Trough for even distribution across the humidifier pad. Unevaporated water will drain from the bottom of your humidifier unit to prevent mineral build-up.
