The Hydronix 30" Sediment Filter Cartridge 20-Pack is the same 25 micron rated filter as the Liquatec SDF-25-3025 30" Sediment Filter. This cartridge filter is also known as part number SDC-25-3025. The Hydronix sediment depth cartridge is constructed with 4 separate layers of micron filtration and the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles, resulting in a lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. The graded density provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges.

Do not use this sediment filter with microbiologically unsafe water without adequate disinfection before or after the system. This 100% polypropylene water filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like silt, rust, sediment and sand. The Hydronix 25 micron sediment cartridge is widely used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters.
