This 1 micron filter effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants such as sand, silt, scale, dirt and sediment. Different wound patterns based on different micron ratings will ensure that you get the correct filter for your specific applications.
Constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord media, the Hydronix string filter is ideal for residential and commercial applications. Also known as part number SWC-25-3001 and PP Filter, the Hydronix string wound cartridge can be used with municipal or well water. Do not use water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection.
Replace this string water filter when a decrease in pressure is detected. The operating temperature capacity of this Hydronix string filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius).
