The Hydronix 40" Sediment Filter Cartridge 20-Pack is the same 10 Micron filter as the Liquatec SDF-25-4010 Filter. This filter has 4 separate layers of micron filtration and the outside-in flow allows the outer layer of this sediment depth filter to trap larger sized particles, resulting in a lower pressure drop, compared to conventional filters. The Hydronix 40" Sediment Filter is commonly used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon filters (also known as GAC filters).

The Hydronix 40" Sediment Cartridge Filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sand, rust, silt and sediment. Also known as part number SDC-25-4010, this filter is ideal for a wide range of commercial, residential, food service and industrial applications. Made of 100% polypropylene, the Hydronix water filter is tested and certified by NSF International under ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for material requirements only. The temperature capacity of this sediment filter ranges from 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

The graded density of this Hydronix 40" water cartridge provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. This sediment filter is adhesive free, binder free and surfactant free. Replace your 5 micron filter every 6 months based on water quality and usage, for optimum performance.
