The Hydronix CB-25-1001 replacement water filter uses a high purity coconut shell activated carbon block filter media. The high chlorine reduction properties make it ideal for use in residential applications, food service, and commercial and industrial sites. With a micron rating of 1 micron you are ensure an excellent reduction to sediment and other fine particles in your water. Additionally, the filter benefits from strong dirt-holding capacity and a reduction to carbon fines as compared to some granular and powder activated carbon filters.
