The Hydronix 10" Pleated Sediment Filter is the cost effective replacement for the Liquatec SPF-25-1005 filter. This pleated filter is resistant to chemicals and bacteria, which should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without proper disinfection. This 5 micron filter effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants such as rust, silt, sediment and sand. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-25-1005, this Hydronix pleated filter also replaces Pentek 255482-43 and Watts FM-5-975.
With high dirt holding capacity the Hydronix sediment water filter extends the time between filter changes. Made from durable non-woven polyester, the media around the polypropylene core is pleated for added strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. By embedding and sealing each end of the pleat, the three components are fused together to form a unified end cap and gasket. Also known as part number SPC-25-1005, the flow rate of this sediment filter is 10 gallons per minute.

The Hydronix pleated sediment filter is ideal for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. This pleated filter is washable, reusable and durable. The temperature capacity ranges from 40 degrees to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius). The Hydronix SPC-25-1005 pleated filter fits standard water filter housings requiring a 10" x 2 1/2" media.
