The Hydronix 10" Pleated Sediment Filter is the same cost effective filter as the Liquatec SPF-25-1020. This sediment filter is resistant to bacteria and chemicals and has a flow rate of 10 gallons per minute. The Hydronix water filter effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants like silt, rust, sand and sediment as small as 20 microns. With high dirt holding capacity the Hydronix pleated water filter extends the time between filter changes.
Also known as part number SPC-25-1020, this pleated filter is constructed from durable non-woven polyester. The media around the polypropylene core is pleated for added strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. Embedding and sealing each end of the pleat, fuses the three components together to form a unified end cap and gasket. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-25-1020, the Hydronix sediment cartridge replaces Pentek 255483-43 and Watts FM-20-975.
