Hydronix 20" Pleated Sediment Filter - 1 Micron

The Hydronix SPC-25-2001 20" Pleated Sediment Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SPF-25-2001 filter. Also known as part number SPC-25-2001, this water filter is resistant to chemicals and bacteria. Constructed from durable non-woven polyester, this superior pleated filter is reusable, durable and washable. The Hydronix sediment filter effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants such as rust, sand, sediment and silt as small as 1 micron. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-25-2001, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 255485-43 and Watts FM-1-20.

The time between filter changes is extended, due to the great dirt holding capacity of this filter. The Hydronix pleated cartridge is ideal for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. The media is pleated around the polypropylene core for additional strength, and the ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. By embedding and sealing each end of the pleat, the three components are fused together to form a unified gasket and end cap.

Do not use water that is of unknown quality or is microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection. This sediment water filter has a temperature capacity ranging from 40 degrees to 125 °F (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius). This Hydronix sediment filter has a flow rate of 20 gallons per minute. The Hydronix SPC-25-2001 filter fits standard water filter housings requiring a 20" media.
