The Liquatec SWF-45-1020 10" String Wound Filter has been replaced with the compatible Hydronix SWF-45-1020 and is a 20 micron water filter cartridge made of polypropylene fiber cords that will reduce the amount of sediment, sand, dirt, silt, rust, scale, and other impurities in your water. This Liquatec string wound water filter offers excellent chemical compatibility and high dirt filtering capacity, all at an economical price. This filter is suitable for both residential and commercial purposes, and it can be used with municipal water and well water.
Manufactured to withstand temperatures up to 165 degrees Fahrenheit, these Liquatec compatible filter cartridges are suitable for use in various medium and high temperature applications. Each of these Liquatec compatible filters feature different polypropylene string wound patterns depending on the specific micron rating. They are compatible replacement filters for Pentek Big Blue string wound filters, Culligan string wound filters, Watts string wound filters, and other similar brands.
These string wound water filters (4 1/2" diameter) feature a higher flow rate and dirt-holding capacity than standard sized (2 1/2" diameter) sediment water filter cartridges. This Liquatec compatible string wound filter cartridge fits most water filter housings that require standard sized 10" water filters (9 3/4" x 4 1/2").
