One click = clean water for one person for one day. Yes, it really is that simple. Procter & Gamble has released a widget that writers can embed on their blogs and for each click these widgets receive, the company will donate an entire day’s worth of clean drinking water to someone in need. The goal is to generate 100,000 clicks (or 100,000 days worth of clean water) by the end of 2010. Bloggers who participate by embedding the widget onto their sites receive this great benefit:

“For every 1,000 days of water that you generate with the widget, P&G GIVE HEALTH will provide you with a $50 gift card or giveaway…”

If you don’t have a blog, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered. Since we love clean water, we have decided to participate by embedding the widget at the top of our blog and we are passing this benefit onto our readers. All you have to do for your chance to win the P&G $50 gift card or giveaway is follow these simple steps:
