The Pentair DGD-2501, 155359-43 Dual Gradient Sediment Water Filter Cartridge is a replacement water filter cartridge that operates as both as a pre- and post-filter, eliminating the need for step-down filtration systems in your home. The outer layer of this Pentair water filter is a 25 micron pre-filter that takes out larger sediment, thus reducing the load on the 1 micron inner-layer post filter allowing for increased efficiency. The pure polypropylene construction of this 1 micron filter results in a resistance to chemicals and corrosion.
