The PureGuardian Humidifier Decalcification Filter is a decalcification filter that prevents minerals and white dust from being released into the air by your PureGuardian humidifier model. This decalcification filter for humidifiers should be replaced approximately every 1,000 hours of operation or after 260 gallons of water use, depending on water conditions. This humidifier decalcification filter prolongs the life of your humidifier by preventing mineral build-up. The PureGuardian FLTDC should be attached to the original water tank lid of your humidifier.
