I'm installing a pot filler over our cooktop. I will be cutting an access-panel behind the kitchen in a pantry closet. The access panel will hold a shut off valve and potentially a water filter.
I'm looking for a filter with flow rate of 1 - 3 gpm. The current water stub is a 1/2" pipe. I'm not overly concerned with sediment as we are on city water, the main concern for my wife is the ability to remove the chlorine taste.
I'm not sure if I should be looking at the "inline" filters or a "whole house". My larger concern with the whole house is the size, I was hoping to keep the access panel at a more manageable size.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
