How do you install the Filters Fast® Replacement for everydrop® EDR5RXD1, Filter 5?
- Remove the new Filters Fast® Replacement for everydrop® EDR5RXD1, Filter 5 filter from the packaging and remove the end cap.
- Locate the water filter, and place small cloth below the filter location in case of water spills.
- Remove the old filter by slowly rotating counter clockwise one quarter turn and pull the filter out of the compartment.
- Remove the cartridge grill cap from the old filter by sliding it off the end of the filter and then discard.
- Slide the grill cap onto the end of the new Filters Fast® Replacement for everydrop® EDR5RXD1, Filter 5 filter.
- Insert the new Filters Fast® Replacement for everydrop® EDR5RXD1, Filter 5 filter into the filter compartment with the cap in the vertical position.
- Rotate one quarter turn clockwise to a horizontal position to lock the filter into place.
- Run 4-5 gallons of water through your refrigerator water dispenser to flush the system.

How do you install the everydrop® EDR5RXD1, Filter 5?
- Locate the filter, grab the filter cap and turn one quarter turn, counter-clockwise to unlock it.
- Pull out the old EDR5RXD1, Filter 5 filter and remove the cap.
- To replace with the new EDR5RXD1, Filter 5 filter, simply reverse the process.
- Turn the cap clockwise to lock.
- After replacing the EDR5RXD1, Filter 5, flush approximately 2 gallons of water through the filter before using.
