The FiltersFast FF10SW-10 is the correct replacement water filter for the Pentek CW-F. This whole house water filter is no slouch, as it is able to effectively reduce extra fine sand, dirt, silt, rust and scale particles from your tap water to improve the flow of water and performance of appliances. String wound filters are not very common in the marketplace, but they do offer excellent tolerance to a wide range of temperatures and minimal pressure drops near the end of their service life. The FF10SW-10 is an economical alternative to the American Plumber W5W (5 micron) water filter and is effective as a pre-filter in well water applications.
