The NCP-BB is constructed with a carbon impregnated non-cellulose media (this type of filter offers finer sediment filtration compared to other types of filter media). Unlike cellulose cartridges, NCP Series Cartridges can be used for municipal and non-chlorinated water applications. The NCPBB should be changed every 6 months based on water quality and usage.
