The Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Filter 4396508 is used in Whirlpool and Kitchenaid refrigerators that have the twist to remove filter located in the front base grille. Be sure to save your filter cap when changing this filter as the cap is used to match your base grille color.
Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Filter 4396508, 4396509 Reduces bad taste, odor, lime scale buildup, chlorine, dirt and rust in your water and ice.
This filter does NOT remove flouride from your water.
The 4396508 Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Filter is the replacement filter for you if you have any of the following part numbers Whirlpool 4392922, Whirlpool 4396509, Whirlpool 4396508, Kitchenaid 4396164, Kitchenaid 4396547, 4396548, 4396918, 4396919, 4396508P as well as Kenmore 46-9902, 9902, 469902, 46-9908, 9908, 469908 and 2203980, NL300, WF-NL300, WF-NL240, WFNL240.
This Whirlpool filter is the correct replacement part for Kitchen Aid 4396547.
The Whirlpool 4396508 and the Whirlpool 4396509 are the same filter. Specifications:
- Temp Range: 33 - 100 F
- Flow Rate: .5 GPM
- Pressure Range: 30 - 120 psi
This Whirlpool refrigerator water filter improves the taste and odor of the water and removes anything larger than .5 microns including the following from your water and ice
