The GE GXFM03C Faucet Mount Filter is easy to install and operate and provides healthy, better tasting drinking water. Use in your coffee, tea, and juice and taste the difference! The GXFM03C comes with the faucet mount filter unit (white), FXMLC cartridge, 2 faucet adaptors, 2 gaskets, and an owners manual.
The GE GXFM03C reduces :
- up to 99% of lead
- 99.99% of Cryptosporidium & Giardia cysts
- 98% of chlorine taste & odor
- 99% turbidity
- particulates Class I
The GE GXFM03C specifications:
- 1 Micron Rating
- 0.6 GPM flow rate
- 200 gallon filter capacity
The GXFM03C uses the FXMLC replacement cartridge which needs to be changed every 3 months or 200 Gallons.

I'm ready to change brands after installing my third GE faucet mount water filter. After 6-8 months, a leak develops at the neck of the vertical assembly and sprays water while the filter stream operates. This has become annoying...and expensive to have to replace the entire unit so frequently. Has anyone else had this problem ?
