The IF-35 cartridge has a 1 micron rating and is easy to change. The life expectancy is 6 months or 750 gallons. Instructions on how to install the IF-35 to your 1/4" plastic or copper refrigerator water supply line are included.

The IF-35 features state of the art technology that ensures a 100% leak-proof seal. The IF-35 replaces the obsolete IR-30, also known as the IF30, IF-30A, IF30A, IF-30 and the IR30, although it is a few inches longer. In addition, the IF-35 differs from the IR-30 in that it uses quick-connect fittings, whereas the IR-30 uses female pipe threads. When replacing the IR-30 with the IF-35, you'll need to remove the old fittings from the IR-30 from your water line.
There is no replacement cartridge for the IF-35, simply disconnect the unit and replace it with another IF-35.
