The LG 5231JA2006A Refrigerator Water Filter is designed to fit LG Refrigerators with LG Premium Ice and Water Filter system model 5231JA2006A-S. This filter reduces chlorine, taste & odor, sediment & rust, and scale and lime from your ice and water.
The 5231JA2006A has been replaced by the upgraded 5231JA2006B filter. The 5231JA2006A will no longer be available for purchase.

The LG 2006A has been NSF/ANSI Tested & Certified to reduce:

- Particulates Class I
The LG Filter also includes a scale and slime inhibitor but this has not been certified by the NSF.
