The LG LT600P 5231JA2006A Refrigerator Water Filter fits LG Refrigerators with the LG Premium Ice and Water Filter system model number 5231JA2006A-S. This filter reduces chlorine, taste & odor, sediment & rust, and scale and lime from your ice and water. Note that the LG 5231JA2006A and LG 5231JA2006B are both known as the LT600P filter. These filters are interchangeable.
The LG 2006A has been NSF/ANSI Tested & Certified to reduce:

Filter works great

I have a well in Florida that has no other filter than the filter in the LG refrigerator. I have been ordering these filters from FiltersFast.com for 5 years and have had no issues. I can go about a year on this filter (it is suggested every 6 months by LG) for a family of 4. We use the refrigerated water probably 25 times per day. I noticed I can't go much more than a year without a replacement so I set up auto-ship which is a great feature.
