The Maytag Puriclean UKF7003 Water Filter is the newest Maytag Puriclean water filter available. It replaces the Maytag UKF7003AXX Filter and is used in refrigerators made by Maytag and JennAir.
The Maytag UKF7003 and our less expensive, compatible version of the Maytag UKF7003 Filter will both replace the following Maytag refrigerator filters:
- Maytag UKF7003AXX and Maytag UKF7003AXXP
- Maytag UKF7002AXX and Maytag UKF7002
- Maytag UKF7001AXX and Maytag UKF7001
- Maytag UKF6001AXX and Maytag UKF6001
- Maytag UKF5001AXX and Maytag UKF5001
- OEM Maytag filters P1AC416 and P1AC250
Note that the Maytag Puriclean UKF7003 will also replace any JennAir refrigerator filters feature the part numbers listed above. The UKF7003 also works with Dacor brand refrigerators.

The Maytag UKF7003 refrigerator water filter meets NSF / ANSI standard 42 for the reduction of

The PuriClean Maytag UKF7003 refrigerator water filter does not remove flouride.
*Maytag recently replaced the Maytag Puriclean UKF7003AXX with the Maytag PUR UKF7003, which is the genuine Maytag filter that replaces the Puriclean filters. Some of the UKF7003 filters may not have any writing on the filters themselves, as Maytag has taken extra efforts to showcase the new and old part numbers on the filter's box and label.

Pre-2009 Maytag refrigerators automatic filter change indicator will activate in 12 mos, but the new filters are only good for six months (almost to the day). You experience significant flow reduction and slower ice making. They changed from 12 month to six month filters in 2009. Even though the life-time capability has been reduced by 50% the cost of the filter is the same.
