It helps to reduce the build up of white dust mineral deposits in Crane humidifiers caused by hard water in your local area.
Under conditions of normal use this dimineralizing Crane humidifier cartridge should be changed approximately every 1-2 months and/or 30-40 fillings. The Crane humidifier replacement filter is very easy to install - after replacing the filter the green indicator light on your Crane humidifier will show that enough water is in the base and that your new humidifier filter is ready to function.
