Fluoride and Heavy Metals Filter

The Fluoride and Heavy Metals Filter reduces heavy metals, color, fluoride, pesticides, bromine, chlorine and chloramines in drinking water. This heavy metals filter is also known as part number CN-B2. An 8 x 30 mesh in this filter reduces metal contaminants like aluminum, cadmium, lead, iron zinc, copper, arsenic, nickel, manganese, silver, chromium and mercury. Depending on the level of contaminants found in your water supply, the reduction of these impurities will vary from 50% to 95%.
Between the intake time of water and length of time it is absorbed in the Fluoride and Heavy Metals Cartridge, the rate of absorption can be determined. Some contaminants with a low pH range can be easily filtered, while others are more effectively filtered at higher levels.

To prolong the media life of the Fluoride and Heavy Metals Cartridge, you can backwash it with water. A water analysis should be conducted prior to the installation of this CN-B2 filter. The type of filter you should use will be based on the condition of your water.
