The Purex 48 DE Grid is a Purex pool filter grid compatible made by Filbur that can be used as a replacement filter grid for the Purex SM-2048 and Purex SMBW-2048 (these pool filters are also known as the Pentair SM-2048 and Pentair SMBW-2048). This pool DE grid can be used as a DE replacement filter grid for OEM Filter Grid 07-4924, Unicel Filter Grid FG-1248 and Pleatco Filter Grid PSC-48.
Filbur diatomaceous earth pool filter grids feature a reinforced center core for increased durability. All of the Filbur DE grids use a 100% polypropylene cloth with an excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, mildew and rot. This cloth is stitched with a chemical resistant string that is then sonic welded to prevent any tearing or fraying.
