The Frigidaire WF3CB PureSource 3 Refrigerator Filter is a genuine Frigidaire refrigerator water filter that fits Frigidaire refrigerator models using the Frigidaire PureSource 3 refrigerator filter system. The Frigidaire Pure Source 3 water filter features a slide-in cylinder that fits in the PureSource 3 housing on the top right side of the refrigerator's inner compartment. The Frigidaire water filter removes impurities in refrigerator water and ice.
The Frigidaire refrigerator water filter reduces the following impurities and contaminants: chlorine taste and odor, particulates (class I), lead, cysts, turbidity, Atraxine (Herbicide), 2,4-D (Herbicide), Toxaphene (Pesticide), mercury, lindane (Pesticide), Alachlor (Herbicide), O-Dichlorobenzene, Chlorobenzene, Styrene, and Tetrachloroethylene.

Love this filter but after four months I can taste the old taste. Wish it would last longer. We do, however, have hard water. I am assuming that is why it only lasted 4 months.
