It also controls odors and will prolong the life of cool mist humidifiers.

Holmes Bacteriostat Humidifier Cleaner uses chlorides to clean your humidifier. It is run through cool mist humidifiers to provide a thorough cleaning in order optimize performance and prevent the overgrowth of bacteria. This Holmes bacteriostatic cleaner should be used every few months to keep your cool mist humidifier(s) in good working order.
