The Honeywell HRF-H1 HEPA Replacement Filter fits Honeywell Tower Purifier models HPA-150 and HHT-155 that require two filters. It also fits models HPA-050 and HHT-055 requiring only one filter. It is recommended to use the Honeywell HRF-H1 TRUE HEPA Replacement Filter with Honeywell B Premium Odor-Reducing Pre-Filters. The Pre-Filters are sold separately.

High Efficiency Particulate Air filters (also known as HEPA filters) have a larger surface area and remove respirable particles more efficiently than pleated filters. True HEPA filters are rated through the use of the DOP (Dioctyl phthalate) penetration test. To determine the filter's efficiency, or the percentage of particles that the filter removes, the concentration of penetrating smoke is measured upstream and downstream of the filter. HEPA filters also remove larger and smaller airborne particles more efficiently.
