The Hydronix 10" Big Blue String Wound Filter is an economical replacement for the Liquatec SWF-45-1001 Filter. Constructed from 100% polypropylene cord, this Hydronix String Wound Filter effectively reduces waterborne contaminants such as rust, dirt, silt, sand and scale. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-1001 filter, this Hydronix Big Blue String Wound Filter also replaces Pentek 355213-43 and Watts SF1-10-425 filter.
This Hydronix string wound filter features a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity over standard size string wound sediment filters. The operating temperature capacity of this Big Blue Filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius). This cost effective sediment filter is ideal for residential and commercial applications. Various wound patterns for different micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right product for your particular application.

Do not use this string filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection. The Hydronix Big Blue filter fits most Big Blue filter housings requiring 10" Big Blue sediment cartridge media. The filter life of this Hydronix string wound cartridge depends on usage, water quality and should be changed when you notice a decrease in pressure.
