The Hydronix 10" Sediment Filter Cartridge SDC-25-1010 is the same 10 Micron rated cartridge as the Liquatec SDF-25-1010 Sediment Filter. This 100% Polypropylene water filter cartridge is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like silt, rust, sediment and sand. The four layers, outside-in flow and step-by-step 10 micron rating effectively retains particles while extending the life with a lower pressure drop. The graded density of the Hydronix SDC-25-1010 provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges.
The Hydronix 10 micron water filter is surfactant free, binder free, and adhesive free. It is widely used as pre-fitration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-1010 filter cartridge, this Hydronix sediment water filter is an economical replacement filter for the Watts 10 inch Sediment Water Filter - 10 Micron. The operating temperature range for this 10 Micron Hydronix 10 inch Sediment Cartridge is 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not use this sediment filter cartridge with microbiologically unsafe water without adequate disinfection.
