The Hydronix 10" Sediment Filter Cartridge, also known as part number SDC-25-1020 is the same 20 Micron rated water filter as the Liquatec SDF-25-1020 Sediment Filter. This Sediment Water Filter Cartridge is ideal for a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial and food service applications. Constructed with 100% polypropylene, this cartridge is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like rust, silt, sediment and sand. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-1020 filter cartridge, this Hydronix sediment water filter is an economical replacement filter for the Pentek 155015-43 as well as the Watts 10" FPMB20-978 Sediment Water Filter.
The Hydronix 10" Sediment Water Filter Cartridge is widely used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters.The four layers, outside-in flow and step-by-step 20 micron rating effectively retains particles while extending the life with a lower pressure drop. The graded density of the Hydronix 10" SDC-25-1020 water cartridge provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges.
