The Hydronix 20" Sediment Filter is an economical equivalent to the Liquatec SDF-45-2010 Sediment Filter. Using 4 separate layers of micron filtration, the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap the larger sized particles, resulting in a much lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. Containing a true multi-stage depth filtration, this water filter is an inexpensive solution to pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon filters (also known as GAC filters). The Hydronix 20" Filter provides a higher particulate filtering capacity compared to standard spun polypropylene and string wound water filters.
Constructed with a coreless design, the Hydronix Water Filter is adhesive free, binder free and surfactant free. Also known as part number SDC-45-2010, this 10 micron filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sand, silt, sediment and rust. Made from 100% polypropylene, the graded density provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. This filter is ideal for residential, commercial, industrial and food service applications. The operating temperature capacity for this sediment filter ranges from 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 62.8 degrees Celsius).
Hydronix Sediment Cartridge specifications:
Do not use this Hydronix Sediment Cartridge with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection before or after the system. This filter will fit many housing systems requiring 20" filter media. Replace your Hydronix water filter every 6 months, based on usage and water quality for optimum performance. Before purchasing your cartridge, be sure to double check the size of your filter. This Hydronix 10 micron filter is tested and certified by NSF International under ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for material requirements only.
