The Hydronix 20" Big Blue String Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SWF-45-2010 String Wound Filter. This water filter has higher dirt holding capacity and flow rate over your standard size sediment filter. Different wound patterns based on diverse micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the appropriate filter for your specific applications. The Hydronix Big Blue 20" Water Filter reduces waterborne contaminants such as sand, silt, sediment, scale and dirt as small as 10 microns.
The media of this string filter is constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord. This filter is also known as part number SWC-45-2010 and sometimes called a PP Filter. This string wound filter can be used with municipal or well water and is ideal for residential and commercial applications. Without adequate disinfection before and after your system, do not use water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe.
