Also known as part number SWC-45-2005, the media of this string filter is made of 100% polypropylene fiber cord. It has higher dirt holding capacity and flow rate over standard size sediment filters. The Hydronix 20" String Wound Water Filter reduces waterborne contaminants such as silt, dirt, rust, scale and sand up to 5 microns. Various wound patterns for different micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right filter for your specific applications.
In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-2005 Filter, the Hydronix String Filter also replaces the Pentek 355223-43 and Watts SF5-20-425. The operating temperature capacity of this water filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius). This sediment filter can be used with municipal or well water and is ideal for commercial as well as residential applications. Avoid using water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection.
