The Hydronix 20" Sediment Filter Cartridge - 5 Micron is an economical 5 micron replacement for the Liquatec SDF-25-2005 20" Sediment Filter. This Hydronix filter is used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. Made with 100% polypropylene, this 5 micron water filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sediment, silt, rust and sand. This Hydronix water filter is used in a variety of functions such as residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-2005 filter cartridge, this Hydronix SDC-25-2005 filter is an economical replacement filter for the Pentek 155016-43 and the Watts FPMB5-20 Sediment Water Filter.
Also known as part number SDC-25-2005, the graded density of the Hydronix 20" Sediment Cartridge Filter provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. The Hydronix SDC-25-2005 Sediment Filter Cartridge is surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free. The temperature capacity of this polypropylene water filter ranges from 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

For optimum performance of your filter housing, replace your Hydronix 20 Inch Sediment Filter Cartridge every 6 months, depending on usage and water quality. Do not use your Hydronix filter cartridge with microbiologically unsafe water without adequate disinfection.
