The Hydronix 20" Sediment Filter Cartridge is an economical 5 micron replacement for the Liquatec SDF-25-2005 20" Sediment Filter. This sediment cartridge filter is used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. Made with 100% polypropylene, this cartridge is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sediment, silt, rust and sand. The Hydronix 20" Sediment Cartridge Filter is used in a variety of functions such as residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-2005 filter cartridge, this Hydronix sediment water filter is an economical replacement filter for the Pentek 155016-43 and the Watts FPMB5-20 Sediment Water Filter.
Also known as part number SDC-25-2005, the graded density of the Hydronix 20" Sediment Cartridge Filter provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. The Hydronix SDC-25-2005 Sediment Filter Cartridge is surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free. The temperature capacity of this polypropylene filter ranges from 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Hydronix SDC-25-2005 Sediment Water Filter Cartridge will fit filter housings requiring a standard 20" sediment filter cartridge such as Pentek, Ametek, American Plumber, Culligan, US Filter and other 20" standard housing systems. For optimum performance of your filter housing, replace your Hydronix 20" Sediment Filter Cartridge every 6 months, depending on usage and water quality. Do not use your Hydronix filter cartridge with microbiologically unsafe water without adequate disinfection.
