The Hydronix 20" String Wound Water Filter is a cost effective solution for reducing waterborne particles and contaminants like silt, dirt, scale, sand and sediment as small as 1 micron. This string filter, also known as a PP Filter, is constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord. Known as part number SWC-25-2001, this Hydronix water filter is the same economical cartridge as the Liquatec SWF-25-2001 Sediment Filter.
This filter has a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity over standard size sediment cartridges. Ideal for using with residential and commercial applications, different wound patterns based on various micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the appropriate filter for your specific application. This string wound filter can be used with municipal or well water. Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
