This Hydronix 30" Sediment Filter Cartridge is the same 1 micron rated cartridge as the Liquatec SDF-25-3001 30" Sediment Filter. The graded density of the Hydronix 30" water filter provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. Also known as part number SDC-25-3001, this Hydronix Sediment Filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like rust, silt, sediment and sand. The four layers, outside-in flow and step-by-step 1 micron rating effectively retain particles while extending the life with a lower pressure drop.
The Hydronix 30" water filter cartridge is widely used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. This sediment filter is surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free. The operating temperature range for this 1 micron filter is 40 degrees to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also ideal for a wide range of residential, industrial, commercial and food service applications. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-3001, this Hydronix sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 155227-43 and the Watts FPMB1-30 Filter Cartridge.
