The Hydronix 20" Big Blue Carbon Filter (Hydronix CB-45-2010) is a carbon block cartridge replacement that reduces impurities that can sometimes be found in water. The 20" carbon block filter accomplishes this by having a 10 micron rating and by being manufactured with high purity coconut shell carbon. This filter can be used in a variety of ways, like in food services, commercial and industrial sites, and in residences as a whole house filter. The Hydronix CB-45-2010 can serve as a replacement for the Liquatec CB-450-20-10, Pentek 155783-43, and Watts IF-CB-020BB.
This carbon block filter can improve the taste of drinking water by reducing impurities like contaminants and odor. The coconut carbon filter replaces GAC filters (Granular Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) filters in situations where chlorine levels are too. It can reduce contaminants like rust, dirt, and carbon fines, as well.
