The Hydronix 10" Big Blue Pleated Filter is an economical replacement for the Liquatec SPF-45-1005 Filter. This water filter reduces waterborne particles and contaminants like sediment, rust, silt and sand. Also known as part number SPC-45-1005, the Hydronix sediment filter is constructed from durable non-woven polyester that is resistant to chemicals and bacteria. This pleated water filter has a flow rate of 30 gallons per minute.
This superior pleated filter should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. The polypropylene core is surrounded by a pleated media and has a high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter changes. This sediment filter is ideal for use in a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-45-1005, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 255490-43 and Watts FM-BB-10-5.

For added strength, the ends of this Big Blue sediment filter are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol that fuses the three components together by forming a unified end cap and gasket. This sediment pleated filter is durable, washable and reusable. The temperature capacity ranges from 40 degrees to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius). The Hydronix Big Blue Sediment filter fits Big Blue Filter Housings requiring a 10" Big Blue media.
