The Hydronix 10" Big Blue Pleated Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SPF-45-1030. Also known as part number SPC-45-1030, this sediment filter effectively reduces particles as small as 30 microns. The Hydronix water filter also reduces waterborne contaminants such as sediment, silt, rust and sand. The polypropylene core of this water filter is surrounded by a pleated media and has high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter replacements.
The Big Blue pleated filter is made from durable non-woven polyester and is a cost effective solution for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. Resistant to chemicals and bacteria, the flow rate of the Hydronix 10" Big Blue filter is 30 gallons per minute. The ends of this 30 micron filter are immersed in a thermo setting vinly plastisol that fuses the three components together by forming a unified end cap and gasket for additional strength. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-45-1030, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 155101-43.

Water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe should not be used with this pleated sediment cartridge without proper disinfection. The Hydronix 10" Sediment Pleated filter fits Big Blue filter housings requiring a 10" Big Blue media. This sediment filter is durable, washable, reusable and has a temperature capacity ranging from 40 degrees to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius).
