Hydronix 20" Big Blue Pleated Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SPF-45-2001. Resistant to chemicals and bacteria, this sediment filter reduces waterborne particles as small as 1 micron. Also known as part number SPC-45-2001, the Big Blue pleated filter reduces contaminants such as sand, rust, sediment and silt. Constructed from durable non-woven polyester this filter is a cost effective solution for a variety of industrial, commercial and residential applications.
Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system. The polypropylene core of this pleated water filter cartridge is surrounded by a pleated media and has high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter replacements. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-45-2001, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 255493-43 and Watts FM-BB-20-1.
