The MWFINT filter is a genuine GE refrigerator filter that removes the same contaminants, has the same NSF certifications and fits into the same model refrigerators. GE recently raised their pricing on the standard GE MWF refrigerator filter, and as a result we can purchase this SmartWater refrigerator filter at a lower price. Now you can, too.
Please note that you will receive only one cartridge, and that the photo above is for comparison's sake. Like the regular GE SmartWater MWF filter, the international version is a replacement refrigerator filter for many GE and Hotpoint refrigerators. Both the GE MWF and GE MWFINT replace the same part numbers.
This GE refrigerator filter reduces the taste and odor of chlorine to 97.5%, as well as cysts (99.99%), particulates (99.7%), asbestos (>99%), atrazine (94.5%), benzene (96.7%), carbofuran (98.7%), endrin (95.6%), lead 99.3%), lindane (99%), mercury (93.2%), P-Dichlorobenzene (99.7%), tetrachloroethylene (96.6%), toxaphene (93.2%), and 2, 4-D (99.5%).
