The Liquatec 10" Big Blue GAC Filter Cartridge (UDF-10BP) is granular activated carbon (GAC) coconut shell water filter replacement cartridge used to reduce the bad taste and odor of chlorine in a variety of low-flow applications such as under sink, countertop, and pre/post-reverse osmosis water filtration systems. This filter may also be used in some humidifying systems, recreational vehicle filtration systems, and food service applications.
This Liquatec UDF-10BP Big Blue GAC filter features coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) technology for more advanced water filtration, maximum chlorine absorbtion, and better tasting water. The coconut shell GAC design of these filters are some of the most effective water filtration media for the reduction of organic compounds such as chlorine, VOCs, radon, and other impurities. They are axial flow filters, meaning they are designed to force water to pass through the entire carbon filter media in order to ensure thorough filtration.
This Liquatec 10" Big Blue GAC filter is a compatible replacement water filter cartridge with similar 10" Big Blue GAC water filters including the Ametek GAC10-BB, Pentek GAC10-BB, Pentek RFC10-BB, Culligan RFC-BBS, Watts GAC-BB10, Whirlpool, US Filter, Ace, American Plumber, Bruner, Plymouth, Pentair, and other name brands. It will fit all water filter housings which use 10" x 4 1/2" Big Blue filter replacement cartridges.
