The Pentek DVG-50 Filter Cartridge provides 3-way filtration to reduce bacteria, virus and protozoan cysts for cleaner and safer drinking water. The first stage of filtration traps sediment and protozoan cysts through a fine-spun fiber matrix. The second stage reduces chlorine taste and odor through carbon block media filtration. The third stage of filtration removes viruses and bacteria through ultrafiltration (UF) membrane tubes.

This Pentek filter reduces chlorine taste and odor. The filtration system of the DVG-50 filter does not incorporate harmful chemicals into the media or filtered water. The DVG-50 Cartridge filters up to 600 gallons of water before replacement is needed.

The Pentak DVG-50 Cartridge fits the following Pentek Virus Reduction Ultrafiltration Systems: VGS-600 (under sink installation) and VCT-1 (countertop). The extra large filtering surface and sediment pre-filtration process of this Pentek Virus Reduction Cartridge extends the service life of the filter. The effectiveness of the Pentek DVG-50 cartridge is not susceptible to natural organic matter (NOM), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and total dissolved solids (TDS). Installation is quick and easy.
