The GE MWF Replacement Filter - Water Sentinel WSG-1 is a compatible replacement for the GE MWF refrigerator water filter. This WSG-1 water filter fits most GE and Hotpoint Refrigerators that use the GE MWF filter. The WSG-1 can be used with the GWF adapter if needed. Check your existing filter to ensure the WSG-1 is compatible or call us to verify.
This Water Sentinel filter also replaces MXRC, FXRT, FXRC, WR97X10006, and 46-9905 / 469905 filters when used with a reusable adaptor. This replacement refrigerator filter reduces lead, cysts, asbestos, atrazine, lindane, the bad taste and odor of chlorine, sediment, turbidity, and more in your water and ice (see complete list below).

You should replace your WSG-1 refrigerator water filter every six months or more frequently if your water has a bad taste or odor or when its flow rate is reduced.
