The Watts FPIR-BB-20 20" Big Blue Iron Filter Replacement Cartridge thoroughly reduces up to 3 parts per million (3 PPM) of dissolved iron from water. The Watts FPIR-BB-20 improves the metallic taste caused by too much iron in water - it will also reduce the orange and brown staining which is commonly found in sinks, toilets, tubs, and other plumbing fixtures due to overly high iron content in water. It is a compatible replacement iron water filter for the Pentek RFFE20-BB Radial Flow Iron Reduction Filter.

The Watts FPIRBB20 iron reducing filter does not add any harmful chemicals to your water, making it safe to use for drinking water applications. It will also help to prevent damage to appliances caused by high iron content in the water supply. The FPIR-BB-20 should be installed on the main cold water line only after the pressure tank or water meter. It will fit in all 20 inch Big Blue filter housings by Culligan, Ametek, Pentek, US Filter, Plymouth Products, American Plumber, and others that use 20" x 4.5" Big Blue/Full Flow filters.

NOTE: Water conditions outside of the above-specified limits may shorten the life of this filter. For best results, use of pre-sediment and post-carbon treatment is recommended in conjunction with this filter.
