The PUR FM9700 3-stage Water Faucet Filter System is discontinued. It is replaced by PUR's new faucet filters, the PUR FM9600B Faucet Filter (white) or the PUR FM-9400B Faucet Filter (chrome).
The new PUR horizontal faucet mounted with 2 filters is the Ultimate in filtration. The new 3 Stage Filter offers a crisp, refreshing taste and removes 99% microbial cysts, cryptosporidium and giardia. With a new electronic filter life indicator and with a space saving design, the new PUR water filtration system installs easily and filters up to 100 gallons (2-3 months) with 1 filter. Available in white (model FM-9700) and chrome (model FM-9500).

we like the space saving design system very much, it saves us money. But we don't understand why after only 3 weeks the red lights comes on telling us its time to change the filter. At the price of these filters we may have to discontinue using your system.
