The Pentek BP-420-1 20" Bag Filter is made of a glazed polypropylene felt that is compatible with many corrosive fluids, including acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and microorganisms. This felt, which is created by needle-punching two layers of synthetic fibers together, has a higher solids loading capability than similar mesh fabrics. The outermost surface fibers of this filter media are then glazed to forge a bond that reduces migration possibilities.
The semi-rigid cylindrical design allows the filter to be crushed and incinerated for easier disposal. Also known as Pentek, Ametek and US Filter 155384-03 and BP420.
The BP-420-1 Bag Filter fits the Pentek PBH-420-1 and PBH-420-1.5 Bag Filter Vessel Filter Systems, as well as other brand housing assemblies for 20 inch bag filters.
