The Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinating unit promotes hydroponic plant growth by removing the toxic effects of chlorine from garden hose water, and uses Quartz crystals to aid plants in the absorption of nutrients. Also known as part number GK-1.
This self contained filter cartridge screws right onto your 3/4" garden hose and contains a polyester sediment prefilter, 2 lbs of KDF55 filter media, 2 oz. of Quartz Crystal and a final stage of KDF73 filament media. The unit also comes complete with a 3 foot heavy duty vinyl hose, and can also be used to wash pets and to greatly extend organic carnuba wax jobs on cars.

- Reduces chloramine 65% - 75% in pH balanced water (low seven range)

Do not allow the filter to freeze. Back flush filter monthly to preserve ideal flow rate. Once the filter has been used, run water through the filter at least twice monthly, or store in a refrigerator to prevent chronic oxidization.
WARNING: The Green Knight is designed for the garden, not as a drinking water filter. Its filtration media is not designed to remove particulate matter or other contaminants such as organic chemicals from drinking water. Please also note that this filtration system is not recommended for use with fish ponds.
