Studies have also shown that a high intake of chlorine increases a person's risk for various cancers.
The Slim-Line shower filter uses the Slim-Line Filter Cartridge (Model SLC), which features a KDF-55 & Chlorgon Media that has been tested and certified against NSF / ANSI Standard 177 for the reduction of free available chlorine. It also enhances your water's pH balance and reduces scale build-up on your shower walls.
This filter is designed to extend your shower head no more than 1.5", so it is especially ideal for taller people who don't want to sacrifice head room.
